Known for his ability to quickly identify patterns and maintain a strategic, big-picture perspective, Abraham specializes in business turnaround, growth, and profit improvement.

Abraham’s academic journey began at the University of Cumbria, Ghana, and extended to the prestigious University of Oxford in the UK, where he completed advanced studies in law and accounting. This dual focus has equipped him with a unique blend of financial expertise and legal acumen, enabling him to navigate complex negotiations and ensure compliance while driving business growth.

Janus vd Westhuizen-Chief operating officer

Janus van der Westhuizen is an accomplished agricultural professional with over two decades of expertise in agribusiness strategy, crop management, and business development across Africa. Janus began his career in agriculture with Omnia Fertilizer, one of Africa’s leading agribusiness firms, where he quickly distinguished himself as a high performer. During his tenure, he pursued advanced studies, earning a Master’s degree in Business Studies and Strategy. His academic achievements did not end there; he also completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Agriculture and Soil Science, alongside certifications in Farm Management, Crop Management, Irrigation, and Fertilizer management.

After five years with Omnia, Janus ventured into the African market, establishing his own agricultural business in Lesotho. Following its successful sale, he rejoined Omnia as Regional Sales Manager and Country Strategy Manager. Concurrently, he managed his own farm, producing maize, soybeans, sunflowers, potatoes, and cabbage while also raising cattle and sheep.

In 2016, Janus joined VS Agri as National Sales Manager and Lead Strategist. Here, he expanded his expertise in microbiology and nutrient synergy, focusing on the interplay of nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, calcium, and magnesium in crop production. He also led a four-year partnership with the National Grain Institute of South Africa, managing a trial farm that spearheaded the development of new seed, chemical, and fertilizer innovations approved by the National board.

In September 2022, Janus transitioned to Bolton CP, where he currently serves as General Manager of the Agriculture Division in Ghana. Under his leadership, the division has achieved significant growth, leveraging his extensive experience in agricultural strategy, market penetration, and crop optimization.

Janus is recognized as a leader in the agricultural industry, with a proven track record in farm management, agribusiness development, and strategic planning. His work has contributed to advancing sustainable agricultural practices and fostering innovation across the African continent.
